Only 575 stamps issued and most are used on parcel and money transfer cards. Certificate Y. Nakri (2025): ‘A truly wonderful example of a rare and fine stamp’. 1920, Turkey in Asia: Theatre Tax Fiscal 20 pa. black, overprint in type II handstamped in black on thick white paper, unused with original gum, very well centered with excellent perforation for this issue. Certificate Yakup Nakri (2025): “Very rare example with albino overprint marks. A delightful example of an extraordinarily rare stamp” (Isfila catal. value 9.000€)

1921, Five stamps with typo overprint including Imperial Registry Fiscal 2 pia slate, all tied to 20 pa. postal stationery envelope by ‘ANGORA 2 - 4.6.21’ cto., stamps are not cut, envelope opened out for display, very fine and attractive franking.

1921, Finance Fiscal 1 pia. yellow block of ten top margin, variety inverted overprint and the unrecorded variety ‘bottom row of overprint large overprint type instead of small type’. Block with nine stamps mint never hinged, strip unused. Very fine. This special feature was discovered by Max Plantinga and was a highlight of his exhibition collection, from which you can now purchase a complete page with another three-stripe stamp, which perfectly documents the large and small printing types.

1pi brown on thin paper, tete-beche pair, without control band, ample to large margins on all sides, unused, with part original gum, light wrinkles typical of this delicate paper, top stamp with light horizontal crease, else fine, scarce. (Isf 16 TB02)

1863, 5 pia. black on brown, used with very clear ‘Battal’ cancellation, blue control band at bottom, showing DOUBLE FRAME variety at left, unusual & extremely rare in this colour (Isfila Specialised No. 18, variety BE112 unrecorded). A gem of Tughra issues.
