Watson ‘Ship Henry Hill’ with 122 bales madder roots, ms. “Via Trieste” inside, letter with embossing and black sender cachet F.C. Blackler Smyrna on reverse. At arrival in US Franklin 1 c. blue type V tied by black “PAID” in circle to envelope and red “Boston Mass. Nov/12” arrival cds. on front. Tiny file fold, otherwise Very Fine and a scarce usage.

Including 7 Duloz covers with cancellations of Nigde Posta Subesi 1287 (negativ type), Adana Turquie, Dersaadet 3 etc. and 25 pia. single stamps cancelled Bagdad 1865 and P.I.O. 1871, over 150 stamps with clear town cancellations, three postcards with arabic type cancellations of Eskishehir and Edirne Rüstem Pasha Hani, few different, but mainly fine.

Lost territories with clear cancellations of Irak, Bulgaria, Greece with islands, Lebanon & Palestine, Albania and Yugoslawia, nice pieces and multiples, neatly in two albums, plus 22 Duloz envelopes.
