1918 BOOKLET: 1913, Imperial Russia booklet for 2 roubles on black on buff cover, specially issued for the “KIEV POST & TELEGRAPH OFFICE”, originally containing nine panes, each of six adhesives for three values of 7 k. (3), 3 k. (3) and 1 k. (3), overprinted in 1918 with violet trident single rubber handstamp (Bulat Kyiv Type 2), only one pane of 7 k. intact, the others either missing or incomplete, 31 adhesives remaining in total, of no importance for this extremely rare item, unrecorded by Bulat (who mentions only one example of the 80 kopek booklet), fine

BERDICHEV (Ukraine): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large margins, tied by clear dotted rectangular “163” with additional pen cross   to lettersheet 1858 to Warsaw, with arrival mark on reverse (offset on front). CHIGIRIN (Ukraine): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large margins, used by upright clear central strike of  dotted rectangular “178”. Very fine. Signed Buchsbayew.

EKATERINOSLAV: 10 kopeck brown & blue, ample to large margins, tied by almost complete strike of boxed pre-philatelic handstamp to piece. Very fine. Signed Buchsbayew

KAMENETS PODOLSK: 10 kopeck brown & blue, ample to large margins, showing part of neighbouring stamp at base, used with central and clear strike of boxed pre-philatelic handstamp to cover front (fold in the lower part broken and fixed). KERCH ENIKOL (Ukraine): 10 kopeck brown & blue, clear to large margins, tied by pre-philatelic double line of May 2, 1858, and pen cross, to entire letter to Taganrog. A fine and rare entire from this small village on the Crimea; just one further recorded with this cancellation. Certificate Buchsbayew (2015)

NOVGRAD-VOLYNSK (Ukraine): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large margins, tied by dotted rectangular "131" to small envelope to Byelaya Tserkov. Very fine and fresh. The only recorded No.1-entire from this small city. Certificate Buchsbayew (2014)

ODESSA (Ukraine): 10 kopeck brown & blue, touched at top and partly at right, otherwise ample margins (was lifted for inspection), tied by dotted oval "6" to letter sheet to Taganrog. On the rear framed “ODESSA 28 JUNE 1858” Just one further No.1 cover has been recorded with the dotted oval of Odessa. Certificate Buchsbayew (2022) 

OLGOPOL (Ukraine): 10 kopeck brown & blue, large even margins, cancelled by complete and quite clear strike of pre-philatelic boxed handstamp. Very fine and rare. Signed Buchsbayew

UMAN (UKRAINE): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large margins, tied by boxed "UMAN 3 JUNE 1858" (with "3" and "58" added in manuscript) to letter written entirely in yiddish (outer flaps partly missing), to Zhitomir. The stamp with tiny surface scratch in the lower frame line, otherwise very fine and fresh. A very rare No.1-usage; just one further entire has been recorded from this small place. ZHITOMIR(Ukraine): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large  margins, tied by pen star and boxed pre-philatelic " ZHITOMIR 28 (JANUARY 1858)" to almost entire letter (parts of outer flaps missing) to Kiev. Slightly cleaned, otherwise very fine. Very rare and attractive.  Certificate Buchsbayew (2017)

1918/47 (ca.), eclectic group including Vienna printings and Regensburg camp issues, also noted Shagiv and Tridents, some better items with Regensburg 1948 top horizontal row of the sheet unused with five se-tenant values, Vienna issue printer´s trials, 1921 Svyatoshina local provisional, etc., except for the occasional fault overall in fine condition, neatly housed in one booklet

1918/20, Ukraine Tridents, over 100 unused and used stamps, including some multiples, with a fine choice of local overprints including the Romanov issue, noted Kiev, Kharkov, Poltava, etc., small part of postmarks with usages from Olgopol, Sarnovskoe and Murafa, a few values signed, neatly housed in one booklet and expertly attributed to Bulat numbers. Except for the occasional fault in overall fine condition
