A horizontal filing crease broken and thus one 3 sk. damaged, 2 further stamps small (filing) hole and some usual transportation marks. An outstanding franking.

"KJOBENHAVN 24 5 1864" to 2nd rate lettersheet to a prisoner of war in the fortress of Graudenz in Western Prussia. The right stamp of the pair with scissors cut at right, some minor transportation faults, still very fine and attractive. A very rare franking and interesting document of the Second Schleswig War. The left 3 sk. tiny crease in the upper left corner, otherwise very fine and fresh. A very fine and rare cover, according to certificate Moeller AIEP (2022) just one other letter at this rate has been recorded (with different franking) combination
