10 c. deep bright blue on yellowish paper, deep colour and clear to large margins, tied by straight-line "SANTA ROSA" to entire letter, dated June 2nd ,1854, to Mendoza. The pair with some staining removed, otherwise very fine and attractive. A rare letter. Certificate BPA (1992) (Scott 2)
