1/2 d. rose, plate 1, variety Imperforate, horizontal pair SW-SX with inverted watermark, large margins all round, large part or full original gum, very fresh and rare. According to J.B.Seymour in the Kohl Handbook (1930), a part perforated sheet was released having two rows completely imperforate. Most stamps were cut from the sheet as singles, only very few pairs recorded. (S.G. Cat.: GBP 6.000)
