 9 Kreuzer mattlblaugrün, allseits voll- bis meist breitrandig und farbfrisch mit gMR "160" und nebengesetztem Halbkreisstempel "KITZINGEN 4/10" (1851) auf Briefhülle nach Tain mit Transit- und Ankunftsstempeln; der Brief war bis zum Bestimmungsort vollständig bezahlt, dabei jedoch nur die Postvereinsgebühr verklebt, das Weiterfranko in Höhe von nochmals "9" Kreuzern bar bezahlt und entsprechend rückseitig vermerkt. Derartige Briefe mit 'geteiltem Franco" sind außerordentlich selten, nach Frankreich ist kein weiterer bekannt, sign. Pfenninger mit Befund sowie Fotoattest Stegmüller BPP

1931, Polarfahrt, Bordpost bis Leningrad vom 25.5., Postkarte eines Besuchers des Zeppelins mit einem langen "Schwindel"-Text über die Polarfahrt "...überfliegen wir Kaiser-Franz-Josefsland..." mit Datierung "Friedrichshafen 21.VII." und Auflieferung über den Bordpost-Briefkasten für die Polarfahrt versendet mit vorderseitig allen Stempeln, adressiert nach Leipzig, gute Erhaltung, sehr ungewöhnliche Karte

Without watermark: 10 k. siena/light blue with one-line "Treppenhof." and handwritten date "d. 27.4.63" on folded letter to Riga, a tear on the front has been stabilzed with hinges, otherwise in good condition, very attractive and to our knowledge the only cover with this cancellation!

"SHANGHAI J.P.O. 21.NOV.98" to Chicago with handstamps "CTMS /T", "US.CHARGE/TO COLLECT 6 CENTS" and "T" plus postage due stamps 2 c.(2) and 1 c. (2) and retour with mark "NAME REPEATED....SUPPLY CORRECT ADDRESS" to Shanghai with arrival mark "SHANGHAI LOCAL POST AP.18.99", card with transporting faults and one stamp with tear at top, very scarce combination

APIA MUNICIPAL POST OFFICE, 1882-86: "APIA JUN 17" cds. on cover franked with US 1882 Garfield 5 c. cancelled with cork, addressed to "Fräulein Anna Stuebel Wachwitz bei Loschwitz bei Dresden", adjacent "SAN FRANCISCO STM. SHIP JUL 14", reverse with arrival mark, cover with notes regarding the content of the letter, very scarce  (Odenweller MO 4)

50 M. bläulichgrün, 30 Stück als portogerechte Frankatur auf Bankenbrief über 100 gr. von "BERLIN 2.8.23." nach Neuruppin, wenige Werte etwas bügig, sonst einwandfrei und gut gezähnt, außergewöhnliche "Massenfrankatur" und sicherlich einer der schönsten Mehrfachfrankaturen mit dieser Marke, signiert Infla und Bechtold BPP
