1932, self-protection organization 1-5 s. imperforated with additional franking tied by cds. RIGA-LIDPASTS 28.5.33" to "Africa-flight"-card to Brussels, addressed to the famous stamp dealer Serebrakian, the plane chrashed on the 29.th of May 1933, the mail was salvaged and transported to Berlin and than flown to its final destination, slightly stained, otherwise fine, a very rare and interesting card

1786 (2 May), folded letter with a large letter "W" surmounted by a crown (Warszawa) handstamp, addressed to the Count de Mniszech, grand master of the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria in Leopolis (Lvov), charged "8" in red crayon, additional markings on back, fine and rare

1829 (23 Nov), folded letter from Warszawa to Zyple (near Marympol), sent by a lawyer to his client, with docketing inside showing endorsement at bottom "Kosztem Odbierajacego" (at recipient's expense - obviously accepted by the post), fine

1837 (12 June), folded letter headed "Konstytorz Jeneralny Dyecezyi Krakowskiej" (General Church Board of Krakow), addressed to the vicar of the Boleslawice parish in the Olkusz county, bearing framed "Interes Rzadowy" and red Krakow (6/6) departure cds, wax seal removed from back, fine

RUSSIA USED IN POLAND: 1857, 10 k., fresh colour and  with good margins, tied by pen cross and boxed "RADZIVIL 10 NOV 1858" to coverfront  to Kharkov, a rare item

1858, 20 k. tied by numeral "1" to entire letter (some faults to reverse) from Warsaw to Wlocawek, stamp slight damage at right, however an extremely rare usage of this stamp in Poland, certificate Mikulski Provenance: ex collection Dubinski

Russia 1858, 10 k. with clear ring cancellation "175" on folded entire letter from Granitza to Warsaw, weak receiver cancellations on reverse

1865, 1 k., 3 k. and 10 k. tied ring cancellation "253" of Plock to small cover, slightly reduced and the reverse with ink scribblings, sent to Dresden, despite the cut-down appearance an attractive little cover

1865,  1 k., 3 k.(2), 10 k. and 30 k., tied by "WB" of Warsaw Railway Station with accompanying Polish language "EXSPEDYCYA" mark, to folded outer letter (faults to reverse) from Warsaw to Rome, transit and arrival markings on reverse,

1 k. and 3 k.(3), tied by ring cancellation "D.B" of the Bromberg - Warsaw railway with accompanying postal wagon mark "5" to outer letter from Lowicz to Warsaw, receiver mark on reverse, overall a very fresh item, the stamps with bright colours

1 k., 2 k. and 10 k., tied by octagonal "1" of Warsaw to cover to Berlin with  arrival marking on reverse, a pretty little cover in good condition

1866, 1 k., 3 k. and 10 k., tied by ring cnacellation "182" of Lodz to outer letter to Brno, the stamps rather scuffed and with archive fold, Brünn arrival cancel on reverse

10 k. brown and blue with "D.B.1" rail road cancel on cover with two line datestamp "Otdelenye Warsh. 8 Dec.1872", horse-shoe "Franco" and transit cancel "AUS RUSSLAND über EISENB. POST-BÜRO XI FRANCO 20.12.72 II" in red to Proskau with arrival mark, rare

1 k.(5), 5 k. and 10 k., tied by "182" ring cancellation of Lodz to reverse of folded entire letter to Warsaw, a very nice letter

1866, 10 k. tied by ring cancellation "241" to  cover from "VLOZLAVSK 7 DEK 1870" , the stamp been previously used, also shows the ring cancellation "80" of Piaski, an nice example of postal fraud

OWN ISSUES: 10 k. rose/blue with light ring cancel "D P" , perforations rather rough but otherwise in good condition

1860, 10 k. rose/blue tied by ring cancellation "55" of Biala to folded entire letter to Vilnius, the stamp poorly centred but of good colour and in good condition

1944, freedom fighters 25gr.-1 zl., imperforated proofs, typ V, 25 gr. and 1 zl. with large sheet margin, very fine, amongst others signed Schmutz

1948, Centaur 25 ct., artist drawing by Stefan Zechowski, dated "7.III.1949", in passepartout with 15 zt. stamp on the margin with signature of the artist
