NORWEGIAN MISSONARIES PRIVATE MAIL: 1894, 1 p. and 1/3 p. in cpl. sheet of 9 stamps (3 resp. 6 values each) with manuscript "Fianarantsoa 16/8 94"; lightly folded through the central horizontal row and very slightly toned except left top stamp over which the following strip of 3 was applied; pencil notation in the margin, most likely from German collector who received the item from a friend in 1894; a very scarce sheet, just recovered from an old estate (Facit MI3-4)

1859, Newspaper stamp 1.05 s. grey lilac in block of four with large margins all round, cancelled by central 'VERONA 5/3' datestamp in black. Some wrikles as are to be expected and of no significance, of excellent appearance and in superb quality for such a rare multiple. Signed A. Diena (1953) and Sorani (2004) (Sassone = € 40.000,-)

1859, Provisional government 15 c. brown with ample to mostly large margins and 5 mm sheet margin at left, tied by blue Modena postmark to small piece, very fine, certificate Colla (2017) (Sassone 13)
