This is the 2nd earliest known usage of a Barwani stamp. Stamp defective on top right but never the less a very important philatelic item of Barwani. BPA certificate (SG value £4500)

Experts believe that this is Barwani's 2nd 1/4 a stamp, different from the 1st stamp (SG 1) being that the top English value tablet is not double as normally found on the 1st stamp (SG 1). Furthermore the 1st issue of Barwani (SG 1 and 2) was issued perforated whereas the 2nd issue of Barwani (SG 1a and 2ab) was issued imperf. Furthermore, the ink shades are different, the 1st stamp (SG 1) was printed in dull blue whereas this stamp is printed in greenish-blue. A single used example, this pair and two covers are all that are known from this issue. BPA certificate (SG value £6000)

A single used example, a pair a cover franked with a pair and this cover are the all that are known from this issue. Arguably one of the greatest rarities of Barwani. 27 May 1921 homemade postcard with repair to top left portion from Barwani City to Palsud franked with 1921  ¼a green on soft wove paper perf 7. Manuscript date by sender "27 - 5 - 21" proves that the stamp was issued before the listed issue date of June 1921 by SG. Quite possible the earliest known usage of SG 3, certificate ISES 2021 (SG value £975)

Undated local cover franked on front with an imperf horizontal pair from the top of the sheet of the 1921  ¼a green blurred impression on soft wove paper and on the back with an imperf horizontal pair from the bottom of the same sheet both tied by undated Barwani cds. with Barwani City delivery cds on reverse. This cover bears the only four known examples of the ¼a green imperf stamps. Not listed in SG and most certainly unique, certificate ISES 2021.

Exhibit sheet with two complete sheets of the May 1921  1/2a ultramarine in two different shades (SG 4) and an additional 3rd sheet but with error stamps perforated on all four sides (SG 4 var). SG lists these as perforated on two or three sides only.

1922  1a vermillion on thick glazed wove paper perf 11, a complete booklet comprising of 8 booklet panes of four. This is the first Barwani booklet that was bound by a staple instead of twine / thread. The booklet covers have no text and no interleaf as the stamps were ungummed. Some minor reinforcements. Most likely unique, certificate ISES 2021.

Registered cover franked on reverse with 1922 1a vermillion & 2 anna purple + 1923  ¼a black perf 7 horizontal pair. A spectacular three color franking and the only known cover franked with the 1923  ¼a black, certificate ISES 2021.

1922  1a vermillion on thick glazed wove paper perf 11 with error, stamp printed double. This is the discovery copy that led to the listing of this stamp in SG in 1993. Possibly unique, certificate ISES 2021 (SG value £2750)

Exhibit sheet with a registered cover from Khetia to Khetia franked with 1922  1a vermillion and 2a purple both on white glazed wove paper + 1/4a rose on horizontally laid battone paper all tied by undated "KHETIA / BARWANI STATE" cds. A spectacular very early three color franking cover of Barwani. Also a complete booklet pane of the 1922  1a vermillion on thick glazed wove paper.

1922  2a purple on thick glazed wove paper perf 11 with error stamp printed on both sides (partial impression on one side). This is the only known Barwani stamp printed on both sides, certificate ISES 2021.
