1922/35, unused, predominantly mint never hinged collection of the overprint issues including many specialities like multiples, controls, varieties, coil joins and leaders. Beginning with six overprint trials including the two in red on British ½ d. stamps (Hib. PR 8+9), there follow the issued stamps with Seahorses Hib. T12-14 (2), the very rare Thom Rialtar 1d. carmine with inverted watermark (Hib. T26wa), 2d., watermark inverted and reversed (Hib. T29 wc), Seahorses Hib. T59-61 as well as a set of three vertical pairs with “S over E” variety and bottom sheet margin (T59g, T69c, T61f), Harrison overprints with long, serifed “1” (Hib. T62a-65a), Seahorses “Narrow Date” Hib. T66-68 including a number of varieties, composite vertical pair 5s. (Hib. T70v), horizontal pairs 2s.6d and 5s. (Hib. T69h+T70h) as well as 2s.6d. horizontal corner-marginal strip of three from top left, “Wide Date” Hib. T72-4 (T74; cert. MacDonnell AIEP), also including a number of varieties and Re-Engraved T-75-77 (T76 cert. Hamilton-Bowen BPP) including T75-6 in horizontal pairs. Finishing on proofs with Dollard Monocolour (17), Dollard Bi-Colour (26), Valdivia perf. (9) and imperf. (10), Angel Victory monocoloured (6) and bi-coloured (3) as well as O´Loughlin, Murphy & Boland (5) and Pictorial Machine Printing Co. (2) and two photographic essays. A remarkable collection in fine to very fine general condition.
1922/2020, extensive unused and primarily mint never hinged collection, profoundly specialized with shades, varieties, coil leaders, ends and joins, gutter pairs, booklet pains and other specialist aspects. Beginning with the First Definitive Series with a fine mint never hinged set, values to 1s. with selvedge and a used 2s.6d. with watermark inverted there follow better coil stamps such as 1933, 1d. perf. 15 x imperf. (single perf., Hib. D2ci) and with watermark inverted (Hib. D2ci wa), 2d. in a vertical strip of twenty showing two coil-joins (Hib. DJ8) and various paste-up leaders, booklet panes including 1931, 6x ½ d. (Hib. HP 1) and 1931, 3x 1d. plus three labels with watermark inverted (Hib. HP 3wa), gutter pairs with 1941, Easter Rising 2 ½ d., block of 36 with four gutter pairs, or 1968, 5s. and 10s. (Hib. D49-50), many uncommon varieties including 1922, ½. d. “green dot right of sword” (D1c) or ”broken lattice" (D2e), 1 ½ d. “broken fraction bar” (D3b), 1941, overprinted 2d. with “snub-nosed e and malformed 1” (C17a/d), 1949 Republic with “dot over Chimney” (C34a), 1952, Moore 2 ½ d., block of four from cracked plate (C39b),1954, Marian Year, block of four, one showing „hand flaw“ (C45a) and finally more interesting Postage Dues with a marginal set of the 1924 issue as well as 1d., watermark inverted and reversed (PD2 wc); 2d. , wmk. inverted (Hib. PD3wa) and sideways left (Hib. PD3wd), 1 d. with variety “inverted Q for O” (Hib. PD2a), 1940, 1s. watermark sideways left (PD14 wd). A fascinating collection in mainly fine to very fine in nine volumes.
1922/2020, large used, unused and predominantly mint never hinged duplicate stock from a strong section of the 1922 overprint issue including an Overprint proof as well as a 10 s. dull grey-blue, overprinted shiny blue-black, narrow lettering, by Thom & Co. (Hib. T61) and 5 s. rose-red overprinted in black, wide lettering, by Thom & Co. (Hib. T73). Later on better high values, inverted watermarks, unused coil stamps including 1933, ½ d. imperf x perf. 14 (4, Hib. D1ci), and more surprising items such as 1948, airmail 1 d. handstamped “Specimen” in red (2) or 1922, ½ d. handstamped “SPECIMEN” in black. Interesting and in good general condition.
1931/2019, extensive mint never hinged collection of stamp booklets in four volumes beginning with some incomplete examples of the very rare early issues Hib. HB1-5, HB 6, Edition 29-46, HB 7, Editions 31-48 and 33-50, HB7a, HB8, HB9, HB10, HB11 and seemingly complete throughout the issues form HB12. Also some postal stationery.
1948/65, specialized mainly mint never hinged and used collection of the airmail issue with a strong focus on varieties, often as part of unused multiples, perforations, sheet markings and individual FDCs. Fine to very fine general condition.
1953/2006, seemingly complete mint never hinged collection including booklets, souvenir and miniature sheets.
