Bucharest arrival cds on reverse of a rare and attractive mixed issue franking.
25 b. brown and 1869, 15 bani red used on May 1871 registered cover addressed to King Carol I himself, tied by "Botosani" thimble datestamp (Kiriac fig. 486) with framed "Recomandat" above. Bucharest arrival cds (3 June) on reverse. A remarkable and extremely rare cover for the connisseur. Certificate Heimbüchler.
25 bani brown (shades), album page with both fresh mint and fine used reconstructions of the eight Transfer Types (16 stamps), the mint reconstruction with 8 mint examples and two used, the used being a complete set. Scarce and appealing lot.
10 bani blue, a very fine mint block of four (Transfer Types 9-9/1-2 ?, top right stamp with large dot between ´N´of ´Bani´) and therefore from the base or right hand side of sheet. Fine attractive appearance and of bright fresh colour, large part original gum. Mint multiples of this stamp are scarce, more so with Mixed Transfer Types. Certificate Heimbüchler.
10 bani blue, mint selection (5) including three single og examples (Types 3,4,6) and an unused horizontal pair (Transfer Types 10-9).

Fresh vivid colour and fine, large part original gum (two unmounted) and superb but for a trivial gum crease not affecting the appearance. Very rare. Certificate Heimbüchler.
