ACTON" handstamp alongside, small tear backed by age-toned tape remnants., otherwise fine. A nice pair of covers showing Penny Post and Two Penny Post markings
Mulready letter sheet 1d. black, stereo A27, cancelled by experimental black Maltese cross of the London Two Penny Post, faint "T.P./ Leadenhall St." in red on front, "JA 16 / 1841" datestamp in red struck at St.Martins-le-Grand Chief Office, to East Acton. Small tear at top backed by paper, otherwise very fresh and fine.

ECUADOR: 2 sh. blue, tied by "C41" to entire letter from "GUAYAQUIL AU 2 1868" with adjacent Panama transit mark and "STEAMSHIP 20" to New York, filing creases not effecting the stamp, a scarce letter
GUADELOUPE: "PAID AT GUADALOUPE", red crowned-circle handstamp on front of folded letter sheet franked with France Colonies general issue 1859/62, 5 c. green and 40 c. vermilion in horizontal strip of 3, all with clear to large margins, the strip with large margins all around, with adjacent date stamp "POINTE-A-PITRE 10 JUIL 1863" and "STEAMSHIP 10" to New York, also red crayon rate marking "1/-", partly over the 5 c.; on reverse red date stamp of the British PO at Guadeloupe and transit mark of St. Thomas; a very fine and rare cover in very fresh condition
