"KUH MALEK SIH ZIARET", 2 quite good strikes in black on 1903/04, 3 ch. in horizontal pair, 12 ch. and 1 kr. on registered envelope to England with additional clear strike on reverse, Indian transit mark and arrival marks; the envelope somewhat reduced in size at top due to rough opening, still attractive and scarce

"LAR", boxed negative seal on 1885/86, 1 ch. and 2 ch. (2) and adjacent on reverse of small envelope to Abbasi, fine and scarce

"LAR", clear positive seal on 1889, 5 ch. on reverse of small cover to Bandar Abbas

"SHAH ABDOL AZIM", positive seal, 3 fair to excellent strikes on 1894, 1 ch. in vertical strip of 4 as additional franking on postcard 4 ch. (reply-part) to Teheran; fine and scarce

"SISTAN", negative fancy cancel in red on 1903/04, 5 ch. on postcard via Russia to Belgium with several transit and arrival marks, fine and scarce

TABRIZ: "FREE", oval negative seal on reverse of envelope via Bushire and Chouchter to Dizfoul

YEZD: "Insufficient stamps", clear negative arabic seal on cover from Yezd to Shiraz

ZANJAN: "Sent free", clear negative seal on envelope to postmaster Stahl in Teheran with adjacent "CENDJAN 17(?)/5"; small tear at bottom, otherwise fine and scarce

ARDEBIL (Supposedly): "Sansor shod", small violet negative oval seal applied over white label on cover from "ARDEBIL ...VIII.18" to Tabriz with arrival mark; small part of reverse flap missing, otherwise fine and extremely rare

AZARBAIJAN OTTOMAN: "Ottoman Military Censor", negative black seal on front of cover from "TAURIS 28.X.18" via Recht to Teheran with additional boxed "PASSED CENSOR NORPERFORCE", franking with faults; a rare censor mark

BAKU: "Postes consulaires persanes Bacou", black seal on Ahmad Shah 12 ch. on reverse of cover via "ENZELI 10.III.20" and Recht (additional strike on the stamp) to Zendjan with arrival mark on front, additional British "PASSED BY CENSOR 550" over white bilingual label; the cover somewhat reduced in size by opening at top, very scarce

BANDAR-NASERI (AHVAZ): "The censor belongs to the committee of Qiyame Sa-adat" and Shiraz military censor mark "Sansorshod", 2 strikes each applied over white labels on front and reverse of cover from Bandar-Naseri via Dehkord to Ispahan; a very nice and rare double-censored cover

BARFROUCH: "Barfrouch censor", small black negative seal on cover, franked on reverse, from Barfrouch to Teheran with arrival mark of 12.8.1919, fine and scarce

BRITISH: "PASSED BY BRITISH MILITARY CENSOR" in violet on front of cover, franked on reverse with Ahmad Shah 9 ch. in horizontal pair and 1918/19, famine relief 1 ch. violet from Teheran 1918 to Hamadan

BRITISH: "PASSED BY CENSOR 550" in violet on reverse of cover from "TEHERAN 26.II.20" to Switzerland

BRITISH: "PASSED BY CENSOR 560" in blue and black on 2 covers from Hamadan, the blue one applied over white label "OPENED BY CENSOR"

BUSHIRE: "PASSED CENSOR BUSHIRE", clear on postal stationery card 1914, 2 ch. green with 1911/22, 3 ch. from Boushir to Edinburgh; card with creased corner at lower right

"PASSED CENSOR BUSHIRE" in lilac on cover from "BOUCHIR 12.II.17" to Karachi with arrival mark

BROZ JAN, black negative censor mark applied over white seal on cover from Shiraz 1915 to Boushire with additional green British censor label, scarce

DEHKORD: "Censored by the military", good strike of boxed marking, applied over 2 white labels on cover from Ram-Hormoz via Dehkord to Ispahan with transit and arrival marks; on reverse of the cover small part of another strike of the censor mark remaining, where the white labels have been removed by opening; a very scarce item

DUNSTERFORCE: "Censuré DUNSTERFO CE", 2 strikes on cover from "RECHT 20.VIII.18" via Kachan to Teheran

GOVERNMENT MILITARY: "Observed by the censor no. 13", quite good strike over label on cover from "KAZVIN 12.IV.21" to Teheran with another but poor strike on front, scarce

GOVERNMENT MILITARY: "Observed by the censor no. 15", clear strike on cover from "TEHERAN 22.III.20" to Boston with additional Teheran transit mark of 25.3.; a major rarity of Iranian censor marks, Eftekhar mentions only 2 recorded copies

HAMADAN: Elongated and round negative censor seals, nice strikes on front and reverse of envelope from "HAMADAN 15.1.17" to Senneh, fine and very rare (Eftekhar no. TK1)

KAZERUN, negative oval 'Melat-e-Kazerun', clear strike on cover with Ahmad Shah 1 ch., 3 ch. and 5 ch. from Boushire to Shiraz with "PASSED CENSOR BUSHIRE" on reverse, scarce

KAZVIN: "censored", black negative seal over label "opened by censor" on cover from Tabriz in August 1919 to Teheran with arrival mark; on reverse part of label (with part of seal on it) removed

KURDISTAN: Bilingual black 'Observed by the military censor' on envelope from Zendjan to Hamadan with arrival mark
