1898, "Octagon" Issue, selection of mint and used as well as over 40 covers and fragments. The stamp group offers a mint never hinged set in blocks of four, and used stamps with postmarks from all thirteen post offices. The covers are seemingly philatelic, with various cancels. An unusual cover present is franked with Greek Olympic stamps from Larissa to Istanbul, perhaps confirming the confiscation of Greek stamps found there and the resulting decision by the Greek Post to apply administrative seals on Olympic Games stamps. Covers are overall clean, some with the usual wear and tear, a variety of cancels, there may be some questionable items, but altogether very nice.
