1855/58, 1 d. pale blue with good to large margins, tied to small part paid envelope with original contents from "BARBADOES FE 27 1856" via England and Aachen to the perfume maker Farina at Cologne, original contents enclosed (partly sticking to the envelope). A very attractive and rare letter, just one further letter from this period with stamps to Germany has been recorded
