1852, (Jan 23) folde lettersheet from Dukedom  with manuscript "Paid 20" alongside via "HELSINGBORG 1 3 1852" to Carlshamm, sent via "NEW YORK FEB 7" by the U. K. steamer Arctic (Collins Line) arriving Liverpool on February 17th 1852. Thence in closed mail via England to Bremen (Bremen Closed Mail) where the Stadtpostamt (also acting as the US mail agent there) struck the red two-line "AMERICA ÜBER BREMEN" as if the letter had been conveyed directly from New York to Bremen. A very interesting and rare entire
