1846, GREAT BRITAIN: Folded letter dated "Liverpool 19 August 1846" endorsed "p. Great Britain", addressed to New York, charged "8" for ship fee, leaving Liverpool on the 22nd of September with matching "SHIP-LETTER LIVERPOOL SP 22 46" on reverse, during the journey the strip stranded on the rocks in Dundrum Bay of the Coast of Northern Ireland, the mails were quickly salvaged and sent on to New York, there charged with "7" cents., a very fine and rare entire with only a handful of covers from this Shipwreck known

1864, PERSIA: Victoria 2d. blue, three blocks of six and single and 4d. brownish-red, horizontal pair and two singles, tied by barred numeral "174" with matching cds. "DINGLE OC 18 64" to large part of registered coverfront to Boston, adhesives partly affixed around the envelope, thus some adhesives with larger faults, however a stunning large franking paying the 2oz rate plus registration fee. According to the Karl Louis card register of Great Britain this is the largest franking of this stamp.
