TURKISH OFFICES IN SAMOS: 1902/1912, group of covers sent to Norway (4), incl. two struck with clear bilingual departure cds. "SAMOS" (Nicolas Type 4-5), together with two shipmail covers posted on board with franking tied by two-line handstamp "PAQUEBOT ARRIVE", the later applied at landing in Smyrna (similar to Hosking 592 but 30 mm in size); fine to very fine, extremely scarce mail magnified by a most unusal destination
1918/20, specialized unused and used Trident collection, neatly mounted on old albums pages, classified by cities and types with Kiev, Chernigov, Kharkov, Odessa, Ekaterinoslav, Poltava, Novobilitza, Gommel and Podolia, also 1920 Courier Field Post and Shahiv issues, some forgeries clearly identified for reference; mixed condition with some casual toning throughout affecting some of the adhesives, many signed UPV or Svenson, an interesting specialist lot

1866/1912 Cuba, Puerto Rico, Philipines, Spain and US Postal Administration, a large mint and used stamp collecton, contained within a binder and a stock book, includes better values; 1 peseta 1870s mint, different years and values, scarce material, in generally fine condition, an excellent accumulation.
1866/1957, used collection with stamps and covers, presented within two large albums, a stockbook and a small file, comprising a study from Turkish Provinces through to modern commemorative issues, includes scarcer early usages such as 5 pi. rose used on 1866 cover from Cairo to Alexandria, a 2 pi. blue used on 1870 wrapper to Cairo, noted a very attractive registered 1879 envelope franked with a vertical pair of 1 pi. rose, also a selection of Austrian, French, British and Italian Foreign Post Offices in Egypt, strong assortment of Aerial Post/Air Mail, with Zeppelin covers, some express mail, postal stationery, censored mail and postage dues, many complete used sets; a reasonably comprehensive assembly in mostly fine condition.
