"On Active Service - No stamps available" endorsement on cover from "DUALA 27.10.14" to Wicklow, Ireland, reverse with arrival mark "GREYSTONE 28 NO 14", some minor wear, otherwise fine
"AKABO" violet straight-line on horizontal pair 1d. on 10 pfg. on small piece with adjacent cds. "LONDON 22 FE 16 F.S.62", the adhesives some minor imperfections, a very rare and interesting cancellation which was used by the Elder Dempster and Company's steamship S.S. Akabo
1915, excellent and rich, unused/mint never hinged and used collection of cancellations, all neatly mounted on pages and with specialities very competently described, including Mi.-Nr. 10(3), 11 and 13 unused and Mi.-Nr. 10-13 used, also multiples and better overprint variants like Mi.-Nr. 7II, 1d. on 10 Pfg. with black overprint, multiples, upper margins, HAN and a good collection of cancellations, partly competently signed, mostly good condition
1914/41, interesting lot of over 90 letters and cards, including a large group of subsequent issues, a large number of good postage paid items, including some interesting mixed frankings, registered mail, censorship, postal stationary, many different cancellations, four letters "On Active Service - Stamps Unavailable" etc., mostly good condition
