Nepalese Courts in Tibet : Unfranked official envelope from Kuti Court to Katmandu, showing large ornamental sun and moon seal, fine
Under the Thapatail Treaty of 1855, Nepalese courts were established in the Tibetan towns of Khasa, Kuti, and Kurong, to handle legal cases involving Nepalese citizens. Mail from these courts was struck with the appropriate court seal, and carried with free-franking privileges by couriers to nearby Nepalese border towns.

1904, St. Louis exposition 1 c. - 10 c. (3 c. damaged corner) on Chicago jeweller's corner card envelope with adjacent “REGISTERED/ NOV 30 1904/ EXPOSITION STADION ST. LOUIS, MO”, to New York with arrival marks. The cover slightly reduced at left when opened, otherwise fine. Very scarce.
1908, 2 c and 3 c., tied by oval "ROYAL DANISH LEGATION WASHINGTON" to cover with Washington D.C. return address, most likely transported in diplomatic bag to Kopenhagen and here posted.
1932, Olympic issue 3 c. purple and 5 c. blue, the unique large die proofs on India Paper, on sunken card with blue control numbers "334309" resp. "334410" and handstamp "FROM THE FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT COLLECTION::::" on reverse. Very fine. A highlight of Olympic Philately. (Scott 718-19P1)
