1880/1960 (ca.), extensive unused and used collection, incl. postage dues, abounding with cpl. sets from the 1892 Allegory issues and thereafter, many better items like Wallis and Futuna Mi.-Nr. 102-134 unused, Ivory Coast 1-17, Camerun 1-15 unused, Congo 29 used, Djibuti 4 used, 27 unused, Dahomey A40I unused, Gabon 15 used, 33-48, China Guandzhou 19 used, Reunion 161 unused, Magadascar 23 used, New Caledonia 237-271, Syria 142 unused (cert. Behr), Alexandrette cpl. with postage dues, Tunisia P1-8N used, etc., together with some covers and souvenir sheets. As to be expected a few forgeries and questionable overprints noted, condition varies in the early issues, overall in a good and fresh quality, many key items signed A. Brun, J-F. Brun or Calves. An attractive and generous assembly, neatly mounted in six albums

1860/1915, Lot 49 letters and postcards  including “GORÉE 21 JUIL. 1860" cds in blue on complete folded letter “Voie anglaise” from Sénégal to Bordeaux, rated “12” centimes in manuscript on arrival (cert. Roumet), two frankings of the 1872 and 1877 colonial issues from Martinique to France, 1881, 25 c. yellow cancelled by black “N.ELLE. CALÉDONIE / NOUMÉA” cds in black to Marseille or 1892 “Bulletin de dépot” form Pondichérry as well as some postal stationery uses.

1818/1947, mint never hinged/unused and used collection with covers, incl. Postage Dues, some duplicates and multiples, starting with a 1818 entire with superb strike of the one-line “MARTINIQUE”, French General Colonial issues Mi.-Nr. 3-5 tied by dotted diamond “MQE” on lettersheet to Marseilles, Mi.-Nr. 26-38 cpl. both unused and used, together with a small but fine selection of covers with better destination Mexico, a few forgeries noted. Some occasional faults, overall in good and fresh condition, some signed J.F. Brun, neatly housed in one album

1885/2010 (ca.), large mostly mint never hinged/unused accumulation with a few used, incl. Postage Dues and Parcel stamps, many cpl. sets, duplicates and better values with Mi.-Nr. 380(6), 386-387(5), 396(6), 467-470(2), 476-477(3) unused/mint never hinged, etc., some France Libre overprints, together with some souvenir sheets, booklets and one cover, overall in very fine condition, in one stockbook

1840/1970, valuable, mostly used selection with emphasis on classic issues, starting with Penny Black, furthermore Mi.-Nr. 2 on cover and on piece, Mi.-Nr. 5-7 with several copiues each, also Mi.-Nr.49, 50(3), 54, 66(4), 67(2), 68(2),69y, 84ax(3), 84ay, 84bx(2), 85, 99(4) and 118(2) used, furthermore Mi.-Nr. 7b, 70-71, 78, 80, 82(2), 83, 118(3) and 144 unused, in addition some better modern varities like Mi.-Nr. 491FI, 504FIII and Mi.-Nr. 506FI, conditions vary, some signed and 14 certificates Louis BPP

1840/1940, Introduction of the Uniform Penny Post, collection on exhibition pages beginning with a small handwritten note dated “2 July 1852” and signed “your obedient servant, William Mulready”, then an unused example each of the 1d black and 2d blue lettersheets and envelopes, lettersheet 1d black cancelled by black maltese cross and “LYNN /JY 12/1841" double-arc cds in black, correctly used to Falkenham and an unused Mulready caricature. There follows a page on the stamp issues with a used example each of the 1d black and 2d blue, 1d black on folded letter and 2d blue on slightly blued paper, cancelled by crisp black maltese cross and used on folded letter “with day list” within London. Also extensive documentation of commemoration in 1890 and 1940. Slightly mixed condition. 

1840/1951(ca.), unused and used collection starting with Mi.-Nr. 1, also Mi.-Nr. 5, 7, 35, 84, 99 and 117-18, in addition some covers, Officials and foreign postoffices, mixed condition

1840/2000, mostly used and some mint never hinged and unused collection with many typified stamps, incl. Mi. 1b (Cert. Louis BPP), 66 (defects, signed Matl VÖB), 99 (defects, Cert. Louis BPP), 174, etc., in three albums

1840/1999, used collection from Michel No. 1 used (2x) and on two covers with better and complete issues, plate numbers, covers and other special features, plus a small part unused and mint never hinged stamps and some Levante, etc., together in five albums

1821/72, English Incoming and Outgoing Mail, group of circa 50 covers, some franked, starting with some folded entires to Constantinople (7), one sent via the route Belgium, Semlin, Kustendje and handed over to the Lloyd, some with cds. "BRITISH.POST.OFFICE.CONSTANTINOPLE", 1847 shipmail entire letter from Yarmouth to Leghorn (Livorno), etc., mixed condition, in one album 

1883/1901, SG O9, O10b(a), O19, O34-35 and O63, used, small faults resp. imperfections, each with certificate BPA (2024)
