VOKZ. 2-1 13” to a registered envelope to Dresden with arrival on reverse, except for a light vertical crease at right and a few toned perfs a very fine, attractive and rare first day of issue franking

1913, Romanov 5 r., fresh colours, tied by small cds. “MOSCOW 28 7 16” with additional franking to insured envelope to France for a value of 3750 rubles, mail redirected via London due to the ongoing battles on the Western front, transit and arrival cds, a few perfs faults otherwise fine, attractive and rare usage

1921, First Definitives 5 r., two singles, fresh colours and large margins all around, tied by small cds. “PETROGRAD 16 8 21” repeated alongside to registered postcard to London, the card with vertical fold away from the adhesives. A fine and very rare commercial usage of those stamps at their facial value, certificate Kirzhner (2022)

1917, Official request to a Siberian village with dramatic text on the right “in view of the extreme need for the provisional government to know about the haverst of grain in the Irkutsk region”, formular profusely answered on reverse, clear departure cds. “ALYATSKOE IRK. -5 8 17” and late arrival “IRKUTSK -8 9 17”, vertical archival fold and minor aging, still fine and scarce

1923, Industry and Agriculture 1 r.-7 r., cpl. set imperforate, tied by cds. “MOSCOW 21 8 23” with additional RSFSR 10 r. Definitive to a registered envelope to Praha, no arrival as usual, minor soiling, still very fine. The convergence of a rare mixed franking RSFSR-USSR, possible only for a few months, and a very early use of the first commemorative set, certificate Leupold (2019)

Russian  Levant, many duplicates with better items starting with the Provisional imperforate issue Mi.-Nr. 1(4) used, 5-7 and 9-11 unused, the collection follows with some high values unused with Mi.-Nr. 38-39y, many cancellations, a good part of Russian Levant with some ROPIT issues, together with a selection of entires and postal stationeries, some Russia used in Poland, etc. Some occasional faults especially in the early issues, overall in fresh condition, an attractive lot in one album

1916/44 (ca), Prisoners of War´s Mail, over 100 soldier´s cards, mostly sent from Italy and Russia, strength in WWI, many censor marks, fine group

1858/1913, used collection with over 120 covers, incl. a fine part of Russia Used in Poland, strength before the 1880s, many interesting and better items starting with a fine selection of Poland Mi.-Nr. 1(15) used with “1” WARSAW, “282” KIBARTY, “Dot in Circles” from TPO, Hexagonal Dotted “16”, etc., 1859 1½ k. Postal Stationery envelope with Kurmanowicz and Bobinski signatures on the inside flap, the collection follows with a good part of Polish numeral cancellations on Russia with Mi.-Nr. 2 used, lots of numeral cancels up to the 30 kopek, some multiples and combination frankings, incoming mail and foreign destinations, interesting usages, transit postmarks, money orders and railway mail, together with a couple of stampless entires. Mixed condition, a great lot in two albums
