1885/96, 3 p. orange, Type B, two copies, and 2 a. carmine, tied by "PAONTA / SIRMOOR STATE 28 OC 01" squared circle cancel 1901 to part envelope, registered from Paonta to Nahan  with "SIRMOOR STATE / NAHAN 29 OC 01" delivery cds on reverse. Internal franked Sirmoor covers are virtually unobtainable because the Maharaja of Sirmoor had issued strict orders to have the stamps removed from all articles of mail prior to delivery. Only a handful of such Sirmoor covers exist, the majority of franked Sirmoor covers are combination covers addressed to areas outside Sirmoor State. BPA certificate
