Proof 15 k. dark blue on reverse of lilac rose cinema tickets (15k. "ДЪТСКІЙ", child ticket), as block of four from the bottom margin, the 2 bottom proofs have a curved impression at the bottom. On reverse the field printed for a 2k. revenue stamp as cinema tax (compare preceding lot), without gum, scarce, fine (Hurt/Ojaste G:5)

"BERLIN POST-EXP.7. / 2 2.67", Rahmenstempel in violetter Versuchsfarbe sauber auf- und nebengsetzt auf Wappen 2 Silbergroschen ultramarin im senkrechten Paar auf Briefhülle nach Warschau mit Ankunftsstempel vom nächsten Tag. Durch die untere Marke des Paares verläuft eine leichte Briefbugspur, sonst einwandfreie und attraktive Erhaltung. Die violette Stempelfarbe wurde bei der Postexpedition 7 nur vom 30.1. bis 8.2.1867 verwendet. Eine große Seltenheit der Berlin-Philatelie. Signiert Kruschel

1863, Tughra 5 piastres reddish-brown, two singles, fresh colour and with ample to large margins, applied upon arrival and tied by Battal cancel to envelope to Istanbul, addressed in Italian, Coptic and Armenian (written in Arabic). Some imperfections to envelope, as usual. A rare high postage due charge. Cert. ISFILA (1997). 

Kleiner Schild ¼ Groschen grauviolett, 2 Groschen grauultramarin und 5 Groschen ockerbraun, alle farbfrisch und gut geprägt und bis auf 2 kurze Zähne auch gezähnt, mit jeweils klar aufgesetztem Rahmenstempel "BERLIN.POST-EXP.9 POTSDAM.BAHNH. 21 8 72" auf Briefkuvert via Brindisi und Hongkong nach Yokohama, Japan. 1850, 3 Pfennige lebhaftrot, Platte III, Type 10, sehr schöne frische und tiefe Farbe und allseits breit gerandet, unten und links mit Zwischenlinien, daran bayerisches Liniensystem erkennbar, mit klar aufgesetztem Doppelkreisstempel "LEIPZIG 24 DEC. 50" auf gelbem Streifband "Der Fortschritt" nach Hoffstadt bei Dt. Crone in Westpreußen mit rückseitigem Ausgabestempel. Die Marke war zur Kontrolle gelöst und ist mit Falz replaziert. Ein hochattraktives Stück in tadelloser Erhaltung. Zeppelin Mail: 1933, 1. Southamerica flight, registered printed matter to Pernambuco with connecting flight Berlin, very fine (Sieger 202)

1863, Umschlag Wappen 1 Silbergroschen rosa, 2 Stück, jeweils mit klar aufgesetztem roten bzw. schwarzen Doppelkreisstempel "KIENITZ",  nach Berlin gelaufen, der rote Stempel vom 12.5.1864, der schwarze vom 4.10.1865. Letzterer kleines Aufnadelungsloch und Faltung der Rückklappe etwas getrennt; der Umschlag mit rotem Stempel tadellos. Am 15.10.1864 wurde die Hilfspostanstalt Kienitz in eine Postexpedition umgewandelt und stempelte daher seit diesem Zeitpunkt mit schwarzer statt mit roter Stempelfarbe. Ein schönes und interessantes Briefpaar. Signiert Metzer

Designs by Axel Roosman for playing cards sold by the Estonian Red Cross, the origin of the Caritas heart and of the pre-perforated cardboards. Submitted design for a playing card by Axel Roosman, on cardboard 65,5x43mm with rounded corners, in pencil, the heart in read watercolor. On the back four glue marks, where the design was attached. The heart on playing cards was, according to the son of Axel Roosman, the origin of the Caritas heart. Axel Roosman had made designs of playing cards for the Estonian Red Cross, which was granted in 1923 the monopoly for the production and sale of playing cards for charitable purposes (E.F. 24-25, pp.163-170). The submission to Alexander Koenig of postage stamp designs on pre-perforated cardboards probably had its origin in Roosman's design of a playing card. One of the designs of a playing card was submitted to the Estonian Red Cross on a pre-cut cardboard with rounded corners, looking like a playing card. Similarly the designs submitted to Alexander Koenig were on perforated cardboards, looking like postage stamps. In addition another design for a playing card by Axel Roosman, in pencil, on paper with a red sticker of the Estonian Red Cross. Four glue marks at the back and a hole at the top. Both of the designs are from the estate of Axel Roosman.

DUTCH POST (1.1.1819-21.10.1830): "LUXEMBURG", straight line in black on lettersheet to the general governor of the lower and central Rhine area at Aachen, endorsed "H.D.S.", on reverse part of red military wax seal; very scarce (Goebel 34 points)

APIA MUNICIPAL POST OFFICE, 1882-86: "APIA MAY 25" cds. on cover franked with US 1882 Garfield 5 c. cancelled with cork, addressed to "Herrn Hopath Stuebel" in Dresden, readdressed locally, adjacent red "SHIP" on front, reverse with transit and arrival mark, the front also shows "No. 12" of the sort usually connected with sequential letters in a correspondence, fine and very scarce  (Odenweller MPO 1).
