1 sgr, brown-red with double printe, ample to large margins and fresh colour, lightly cancelled with circle of 9 bars of Luxemburg, leaving the face completely free; a rare variety, sign. Demuth BPP with certificate (1985) and certificate Böttger BPP (2018)

1875, Large overprint: 1 c. red-brown, part sheet of 87 stamps, incl. 23 stamps overprint inverted (5 copies with double overprint or part of double overprint), unused with original gum, most stamps unmounted mint; the rouletting somewhat separated in places and few imperfections incl. vertical marginal crease on 5 stamps; a very rare multiple

1927/28, 10s. block of four from the "broken S" plate, mint never hinged and unuassualy well centered for these, very fine (Michel 39III)

Hodges, care of US Consul Panama", redirected in care of yet another person in New Grenada "Favored by Mr. I. de Sabla", with complete contents. Part of backflap and small part at top of cover missing, two small faint tape stains at left, otherwise fine, a very interesting cover with a very early use of a well-known Panama forwarder, certificate PF. Overprint "officiel": 1 ch. and 3 ch. as additional franking on postcard 2 ch. on 5 ch. from Tabriz to Germany

VENEZUELA-MEXICO: 1873, Lettersheet from Maracaibo to Vera Cruz, privately carried to Curacao, showing on reverse forwarding agent mark "J. GAERSTE & Co. CURACAO / 21 MAI 73", forwarded to St. Thomas with frontside seal (CONSULAAT DER NEDERLANDEN TE ST. THOMAS" (acting as forwarding agent). Here the letter was delivered to the Danish post office with frontside "ST. THOMAS 6/6 1873" and sent on, franked with France Ceres 5 centimes green and 25 centimes blue, each in horizontal pair, tied by anchor handstamp with adjacent "ST. THOMAS PAQ. FR. B No.4". One 5 centimes affected by vertical crease and the lettersheet with some separation in the folds (fixed). A fascinating and most likely unique cover via the Dutch Consulate

TELEGRAPH STAMPS: 1877, 3 sh. blue, imperforate specimen block of 20 with marginal inscription, unused o.g. with a couple of hinge remainders, one stamp with stain, some light gum bends and 2 corner stamps with diagonal creases, still fine; a rare and attractive multiple (SG Spec.L229)

HIMARA: "KHIMARA 13 5-12", somewhat faint but clear strike of violet bilingual cds. on postal stationery card 20 pa. to Yanya with taxed on front and reverse; central fold. This is the only example of any Himara cancel known on a complete postal document
