1929, Zeppelin 2 M. und 4 M. jeweils mit schwarzem bzw. rotem Aufdruck "LUFTSCHIFF/GRAF ZEPPELIN" sowie ausgebalkten Inschriften "AMERIKA/EUROPA", ungebraucht, Herr Konsul Herrmann E. Sieger schreibt in seinem Attest 1951 "Diese bereits im Berezowski-Handbuch 1930 erwähnten und abgebildeten Probedrucke sind nur in wenigen Stücken bekannt. Sie dienten seinerzeit als Vorlage, als das Reichspostministerium zuerst die für die Amerikafahrt 1928 verausgabten beiden Zeppelinmarken zu 2 und 4 RM nicht zur Frankatur für andere Zeppelinfahrten (die nicht nach Amerika gingen) zulassen wollte, weil sich auf den Marken die Inschrift Europa-Amerika befinde. Es sollten die noch vorhandenen Bestände der beiden Zeppelinmarken mit diesem Aufdruck versehen für nicht nach Amerika führende Fahrten des Luftschiffes verwendet werden. Das Reichspostministerium hat dann aber doch davon abgesehen... und angeordnet, daß diese Marken ohne Aufdruck auch für die anderen Fahrten des LZ 127 verwendet werden können."; große Zeppelin-Seltenheiten, Fotoattest Sieger BPP
