OCCUPATION OF KOBULETI (CÜRÜKSU): "SAHRA POSTASI 87", good strike on cover from Kobuleti 1918 to Istanbul with arrival mark of June 21, 1918; some toning and usual transportation marks without importance. Turkish troops occupied Kobuleti on April 16, 1918 and withdrew in December the same year. This cover is supposed to be the only known postal item mailed from Kobuleti during the siege.

1874, Estero Viktor Emanuel II. 30 (with lower left corner "unmodified") and 40c. tied by a superb strike of the rare barred "MONTEVIDEO" to insufficently paid registered envelope transported on the ship "Europa" to Aulla, upon arrival a good strike of two-line "Da Montevideo coi Postali Italiani" applied, some soiling and minor imperfections on the adhesives, but one of only four known registered letters carried by Lavarello from Montevideo to Italy, only two of these known with the barred "MONTEVIDEO" cancel and this is the only known with this franking as also mentioned in "Sassone Gli Annullamenti" on page 629, signed Colla with certificate (2009) and certificate Scheller (2009)
