18 Kreuzer zinnoberrot, 2 Einzelwerte, sehr schön farbfrisch und voll- bis breitrandig mit oMR "28" auf Briefhülle von "AUGSBURG 14 SEP. 1866" über die Schweiz und Mailand nach Brescia. Das Porto betrug seit 1.11.1859 6 Kreuzer/Loth für Bayern + 6 Kreuzer/Loth für die Schweiz sowie 6 Kreuzer/10 g für Italien; aufgrund des in Italien notierten Übergewichtes von "2½" galt die 3. italienische Gewichtsstufe als unfrankiert und vom Empfänger wurden 35 Centesimi nacherhoben (handschriftlich "oltre 35 c". Ein postgeschichtlich interessanter Brief mit recht seltener Frankatur, sign. Ernst Stock und Brettl BPP mit Fotoattest

LAFAYETTE (Supposed): Postcard "Par ballon non monté" franked with Lauré 10 c., tied by star cancel "36" with adjacent "PARIS Bt DU PRINCE EUGÈNE 12 OCT: 70" to Etretat with arrival mark of Le Havre of October 20. The balloon landed in Belgium which might be the reason that the card was taxed "2" decimes at arrival; the card with small rubbing at upper left, otherwise very fine, certificate Behr (2013)

RIGA (Latvia): 10 kopeck brown and blue, good to large margins, used with pen cross on lettersheet with adjacent "POLUCHENO 16 JAN: 1858" and reverse side dispatch mark "RIGA 14 JAN 1858", to Reval. An attractive and rare entire of the 2nd week of circulation.

1858, Barquitos 3 pesos green, wonderful fresh colour and large margins with full framelines on all sides and parts of 2 neighbouring stamps, tied by crisp 'ponchito' cancel to lettersheet with adjacent  "CORREOS DE BUENOS AIRES 3 AGO 58" to Tucuman. A beautiful and fresh entire with one of the best cut examples of this rare stamp, for which a small removed stain at lower right is of absolutely minor importance.
