6 Kreuzer blau, 2 Einzelwerte, beide voll- bis breitrandig mit oMR "479" auf Brief von "SCHWEINFURT 14/5" (1864) nach Harlingen mit Ankunftsstempel vom 18.5. Der Brief war für die vorgesehene Beförderung via Preußen richtig frankiert und behandelt, das ausgewiesene Weiterfranko von "4" Kreuzern war für die Niederlande bestimmt, der Brief wurde jedoch unzulässigerweise über Frankreich befördert, vorderseitig klarer roter Transitstempel "BAVIERRE-FORBACH AMB.C", obwohl der gültige Postvertrag Bayern-Frankreich den Leitweg über Frankreich ausdrücklich ausschloß. Der Brief wurde höchstwahrscheinlich dann über Belgien in die Niederlande geleitet, wobei - da das volle Weiterfranko den Niederlanden zustand - Frankreich für den Teiltransport leer ausging. Ein postgeschichtlich hoch interessanter und schöner Brief, Fotoattest Brettl BPP

May 1921 Registered letter, private correspondence, sent from Sevastopol to a small locality in Samara which uses a DOPLATIT cachet with Mss date as a receiver cancel on the reverse. The Crimea was under Soviet control after Wrangel’s evacuation at the end of 1920, as indicated here by the presence of a violet Three Triangle Sevastopol censor on the reverse and the franking at 10 roubles in accord with the RSFSR Tariff. A scarce item
