KANLICA: "KANLICA POSTA SUBESI 1311", clear violet negative seal cancel on postcard 10 pa. 1907 to Cenglkoy, little stains and some light creasing. Discovery copy and only example known of this cancellation

BAKU: "Postes consulaires persanes Bacou", black seal on Ahmad Shah 12 ch. on reverse of cover via "ENZELI 10.III.20" and Recht (additional strike on the stamp) to Zendjan with arrival mark on front, additional British "PASSED BY CENSOR 550" over white bilingual label; the cover somewhat reduced in size by opening at top, very scarce

"LUXEMBOURG 10 JANV. 65" to Cologne with transit and arrival marks; the stamp with minor bends, due to contents of the envelope; a fine and very scarce entire; only few covers known from the fortress with 25 c. postage

January 1921 Ukrainian National Republic parcel card endorsed “Red Army” with authorisation number in pencil at the top, sent from MONASTIRISHE KIEV 21 2 21 to the village of Archangelskoe with BORSHEVO VORON[ezh] 11 3 21 receiver on reverse. Charged at 97 roubles 50 for 39 Funt (exactly 2.5 roubles per funt, the Red Army rate) and exactly franked by re-valued Imperial Arms stamps including a 3 kop imperforate with Kyiv type 2 Trident overprint which has been sexisected to create a 2 rouble 50 kop stamp. Sexisected stamps from any country at any time must surely be rare!
