Postmaster Provisionals 1920 – 1921 KUSTANAI Very extensive collection of Kustanai types 3, 4 and 5 including many on fragments, carefully studied, with a total of 86 stamps plus identified forgeries and a group of four values unlisted in Michel but which are not obvious forgeries and may be genuine

1 sgr. brown-red, good to large margins, cancelled with large part of Luxemburg target cancel in red; extremely rare, only few stamps with the red cancellation are recorded, certificate Demuth BPP (1985)

TAIZ: "TELEGRAF VE POSTA HANE-i TAIZ", negative seal on telegram; several folds and a large tear in the upper part of the telegram backed (all quite imperceptible); a very rare item

LEFKE: "MEMUR-U NAKALIYE-I POSTA-I LEFKE 1309", superb strike of negative violet seal cancel on 1908, 10 pa. on picture side of postcard to Istanbul; stamp with missing corner at lower left, the card little unfresh. The only known example and discovery copy of this seal cancellation

BARFROUCH: "Barfrouch censor", small black negative seal on cover, franked on reverse, from Barfrouch to Teheran with arrival mark of 12.8.1919, fine and scarce
