Mainz" in schwarz auf Militär-Dienstbrief nach Klosterneuburg; in Wien wurde zusätzlich ein schwarzer Ra "Wien: T.ax" abgeschlagen (= 2 Kreuzer Zustellgebühr der 'kleinen Wiener Stadtpost' nach Klosterneuburg); die 2 Kreuzer Zustellgebühr waren in der roten Taxe "16" bereits enthalten, übliche Taxe war "14"; der Wiener Taxstempel ist bisher nur auf 2 Briefen aus der Bundesfestung bekannt

June 1920 Part of a parcel card sent from VLADIKAVKAZ 13 6 20 and endorsed in pencil “Red Army” at top. Remaining franking comprises 10 x 10 rouble, 1 x 5 rouble and 2 x 3 rouble Denikin stamps  

1859, Essay of engraver Ludwig Kurz from Frankfurt, original die proof 10 c. black on white paper, fixed on small piece of carton, which is sealed to card with statement of Ludwig Kurz given in 1897, that this is the first print taken from the die which he engraved in 1859. Later the die was slightly changed when it was used for the final printings by the company C. Naumann in Frankfurt. A unique item of Luxembourg philately!

1915, 10 kr. rose and bistre-brown type of Persia, overprinted in black; setting IB/3; no watermark, perf. 11 1/2; unused, with large part original gum;  BPA certificate.

POSTAGE DUE: 1898/1921, 3 covers and 1 postcard incl. postage due stamp used as regular stamp on cover to Paris, "T"-marking of Baalbek etc.

GOVERNMENT MILITARY: "Observed by the censor no. 15", clear strike on cover from "TEHERAN 22.III.20" to Boston with additional Teheran transit mark of 25.3.; a major rarity of Iranian censor marks, Eftekhar mentions only 2 recorded copies

Das Porto betrug 8 Kreuzer Vereinstaxe + 10 Kreuzer Transit für Belgien und England + 33 Kreuzer Seetaxe bis Kapstadt; das Weiterfranko wurde in München zwar nicht korrekt vermerkt, aber bei der Umspedition in England richtiggestellt. Einer der spektakulärsten und besten Auslandsbriefe der Kreuzer-Zeit, original Inhalt beiliegend; Fotoattest Brettl BPP Provenienz: Sotheby, Johannesburg (1991)

50 Pfg. und Bauten 4 Pfg. und 1 Pfg. (2) als Neufrankierung auf Einschreibe-Brief mit schon vorgeklebter Frankatur Rotaufdruck 2 Pfg. (2) und Schwarzaufdruck 8 Pfg. (8) nach München, alle Marken entwertet mit Stempel "BERLIN-WILMERSDORF 25.10.49", die Schwarzaufdruckwerte waren nicht mehr gültig, rückseitig mit Ankunftsstempel und handschriftlichem Vermerk "Marken vom Absender verklebt", interessante Variante!

1855, Dienstbrief vom k.k. Militär Stations Kommando zu Budweis an das Kronprinz Albert von Sachsen Infanterie Regiment in Mainz mit nebengesetztem "M.B." (Militär-Brief); dieser Stempel ist ab 1850 nur auf wenigen Belegen in die Bundesfestung Mainz bekannt

June 1920 Money Transfer Form used to send 200 roubles from KUBANSKOYE KUB[an] 9 6 20 and addressed to Kiev. Franked at 10 roubles with a Kuban overprinted 10 rouble stamp, representing the minimum charge for a money transfer. Sent at a time when Kiev was Polish-occupied but received LYSYANKA KIEV 6 7 20 and signed for in August  

1859, Coat of Arms, essay of printer Pierre Brück from Luxembourg, 10 C. ultramarine, coarse printing on white paper without watermark, complete sheet of 30 stamps incl. tête-bêche on pos. 10, ungummed; 2 tiny tears in the lower margin well off the stamps, otherwise very fine. A great rarity of Luxembourg philately, 2 tête-bêches are known, this being the only one known within a complete sheet besides these two mentioned; no other tête-bêches are known of Luxembourg stamps
