1859, Essay of engraver Ludwig Kurz from Frankfurt, original die proof 10 c. black on white paper, fixed on small piece of carton, which is sealed to card with statement of Ludwig Kurz given in 1897, that this is the first print taken from the die which he engraved in 1859. Later the die was slightly changed when it was used for the final printings by the company C. Naumann in Frankfurt. A unique item of Luxembourg philately!
