6 Kreuzer blau, rechts mit der Randlinie geschnitten, sonst breitrandig und farbfrisch mit zentrischem gMR "345" auf kleiner Reco-Briefhülle mit etwas übergehendem roten Halbkreisstempel "NEU-OETTING 17/10" (1864) und rotem L1 "Chargé" nach Regensburg; ein unauffälliger Briefbug in der Marke geglättet und hier etwas nachgemalt; ein dennoch attraktiver Brief mit dem roten Stempel, sign. 15 Kreuzer braunpurpur und 1862/64, 9 Kreuzer ockerbraun, Einzelmarke und waagerechtes Paar, abwechselnd geklebt mit Nr. "134" auf Briefvorderseite von Mainz nach Madrid; der Brief war ursprünglich nur frankiert mit 18 Kreuzern für einen einfachen Brief über Frankreich mit Aufgabestempel "18/10/7-8N", der Brief fiel jedoch in die 2. deutsche und somit 3. französische Gewichtsstufe und wurde mit handschriftlichem Vermerk "noch 24" (jetzt überklebt) dem Absender zurück gegeben, der Brief mit dem geforderten Porto nachfrankiert und am nächsten Morgen erneut aufgegeben. Der Brief war jetzt ordnungsgemäß frankiert für den Leitweg über Preußen, da der ursprünglich billigere Weg über Frankreich durch die unterschiedlichen Progressionssätze jetzt 6 Kreuzer teurer gewesen wäre; das Weiterfranko von 8 Silbergroschen = 28 Kreuzer entsprechend notiert
1 M. mit Stempel "BERLIN-WEST PSCHA 10.6.49" rückseitig auf linkem Zahlkarten-Abschnitt für eine Einzahlung über DM 1060,- auf das eigene Konto, Aktenlochung links sauber geschlossen, sehr seltene und ungewöhnliche Verwendung
"K.P.-POST-AMT MAINZ/PACKK.EXPED." Krone/Posthorn-Siegelstempel der Mainzer Packkammer-Expedition, klar abgeschlagen rückseitig auf Paketbegleitbrief mit 5 Groschen durchstochen mit blauem EKr. "BREMEN 10 8 68"; wahrscheinlich einzig bekannter Abschlag des Stempels
