1829/1990 (ca), covers, cards and postal stationery from pre-philately with, among other things, a military letter from Harburg to the modern era, including two prepaid R-coffee sacks from El Salvador in 1929 and an airmail letter to La Paz in 1937, neatly in an album

1877 (1294), “Second Post Office” issue, sheet of 40 in ocher (Dietrich “yellow” shade), used in Jalallabad, composed of 25x1sh, 8x1sa, 3x1ab, and two each of 1/2rup and 1rup, printed in eight rows of five on vertically laid paper, without gum as issued, fresh colour, folded between rows 5 and 6, a fine and scarce sheet. (ex Scott 69-73)

1810/ 68 (approx.), interesting, mainly used collection with covers, pre-philately, including batch letters, postal notes with various pre-prints, postal stationary, also postal stationary and a well stamped part from Mi.-Nr. 1a, Mi.-Nr. 4b margin piece used on letter, Mi.-Nr. 21-22 used, small cancellation part with some coloured cancellations, multiples etc. The collection comes from the possession of the association expertiser H. Thoma, plus corresponding literature including "Handbuch der Badischen Pre-Philately" and "Die Abstempelungen des Großherzogtums Baden ab 1851" as well as "Handbuch der Württemberg-Philatelie".

1935/1970 (ca.), Space and related sciences, sophisticated mint collection in a binder, comprising thematic stamps and souvenir sheets All World, e.g. Poland 1938 Stratosphere souvenir sheet, better TAAF issues, nice Qatar, etc.

1877, (1294), Sher Ali, “Second Post Office” Issue, lithographed in Kabul, with twenty three singles, one tied to piece by manuscript, mostly grey or greenish shades, note two examples in black, the origins of which have been much debated by specialists from Masson-Jones to Boggs to Dietrich, varying condition, a fascinating group.

1851/68 (approx.), interesting small group of, mostly still on lot cards from the 60s, including Mi. 1a (2 + printed matter + colour franking with 2a, all new certificates resp. attestations Stegmüller BPP), various colour frankings, better cancellations, etc.. Not everything perfect but overall very clean.

1964/85 (ca.), kleine Sammlung mit über 60 Schmuck-Umschläge/Karten und einigen Blockausgaben, meist aus der Sowjetunion, dabei viele Belege mit Unterschriften, gute Erhaltung

1878, (1295), Sher Ali, “Third Post Office” Issue, lithographed in Kabul, an extensive study, a mix of mint and used, mounted on pages and annotated as per plate, position, shade, etc, with many large mint multiples including several purple blocks, one being a nearly full sheet showing positions 1 through 36, sheet of 40 Plate B in grey, with several other large multiples or near-complete, complete sheet of Place C in green, a few examples on cover or large piece, over thirty examples of the “Skeleton” issues in shades of brown, green, and black, condition varies, as expected, but a fascinating collection prepared by a dedicated student of the issue.
