1866, Maximilian litho 13 c. blue, TULA 29-1866, tied by "FRANQUEA/DO EN TULA" to entire letter to Mexico city. Very rare, just 490 stamps delivered. Certificate Jaretzky (2012)
1868, thin figures 100 c. black on brown, horizontal pair, with thick figures 12 c. and 50 c., tied by Durango c.d.s., with adjacent "CERTIFICADO EN DURANGO SALE EN 11 DE Febro DE 1871" to registered cover front to Guichapa. Receipt on front. Fine and rare. Signed Bash, certificate MEPSI (1995)
1874/83, 10 c. black, tied by c.d.s. "VERA CRUZ FRANCO ABR 18 1877" to part paid letter sheet via New York to Genova, Italy, here taxed and postage due stamps 1 l., 5 c. and 10 c. added, tied by Genova cds., very fine
1867, 1st printing, serrate perf., 4 r. rose in combination with 3rd printing imperf. 1 r. blue, tied by oval "FRANQUEADO GUADALAJARA" to entire letter May 15th, 1867, to Zacatecas. 1 r. small marginal defect and both stamps slightly affected by filing crease. A great rarity; just 2 entires of the 2 r. have been recorded. An amazing combination cover. Certificate MEPSI (2013)
2nd printing, thin laid batonne paper 2 r. rose, diagonal bisect, with 3rd printing imperf. 2 r. green, tied by "FRANCO EN C. GUZMAN" to cover front. Very rare, the only such combination recorded. Certificate MEPSI (1998)
3rd printing imperf. 4 r. blue on quadrille paper, nice colour and large margins, tied by "FRANQUEADO GUADALAJARA" to letter sheet with adjacent "FRANQUEADO TEPIC", to Mazatlan. Very fine and most attractive; just 2 other entires recorded with this stamp. Certificate MEPSI (2004)
3rd printing imperf. 4 r. blue on thin laid batonne paper, in combination with 1868, 1 r. green on laid paper, tied by fancy laurel leaves to entire letter September 25th, 1868, to Leon. A unique combination ot 1867 and 1868 issues and a very late use of the provisional issue. Certificate MEPSI (2003).
1856/1967 (ca.), mint never hinged/unused and used balance of a collection with a few covers, incl. Fiscals and Local Issues, speciality material, inverted overprints, with some duplicates and many blocks, starting from the imperforate Hidalgo issues, also a fine part of local issues, together with a few entires and covers, a few forgeries noted. Some occasional faults as to be expected, overall in good and fresh condition, an interesting lot in one stockbook
1856/1940 (ca.), nicely specialised collection in 10 volumes plus stock books, etc, collected according to districts and deliveries, with better single stamps and some multiples and entires, also nice strong section of the Civil War. 1913/16 with many covers and cards and finally some literature including Follansbee 'Mexican revolution' and 'Imperial eagles'. An interesting holding for specialists
1856/66, interesting unused and used collection with covers, some duplicates and better items starting with the first Hidalgo issues with Mi.-Nr. 1(26), 4(4), 5(3), 19(6) with a strip of four on entire, 22(9), 23(4) all used, the collection follows with the Maximilian issues both engraved and lithos, Mi.-Nr. 27 tied to entire, together with a few multiples, also France Mi.-Nr. 12 and 15 franking a 1865 entire to Aurillac tied with the scarce dotted diamond "CEMA", etc., some reprints, forgeries and questionable cancellations noted. Mixed condition, one certificate Jaretzky, an attractive assembly in one album
1868/1910, unused and used collection, incl. Officials and Sea Post, some duplicates with shades, together with one entire. Somewhat mixed condition, mostly fresh, neatly housed in one album
