EASTER ISLAND: 1916 (ca.), Columbus 1 c. grey-green, marginal block of four diagonally surcharges 'Rapa-Nui' in blue, apparently purchased at Easter Island by a crew member of the December 1916 Expedition on the Yacht 'Carnegie'. Mentioned in the Dec 1922 National Geographic article and by John Luff in Scott's Monthly Journal; somewhat toned as to be expected
