1861, 1/2 r. black on brown QUERETARO, the complete sheet of 60 subjects, Plate III, with large margins all around, top sheet margin folded down at top for Exhibit display, of bright fresh colour and full o.g.; slight creases between fourth and fifth rows and vertically through centre; natural paper fold in seventh row; however an outstandig Exhibit item of great rarity for the specialist. Just 83 stamps from this cogsignment were returned to Mexico City Post Office in 1864 when the new Eagle issue was invoiced, signed C.J.Phillips (Stanley Gibbons), ex collection Maurice·Burrus, Jaretzky certificate (Scott-no.6)
