Imperforated plate proofs: 1 m. (2 pairs), 2 m. on white paper in block of four and on yellow paper (2 blocks of four) and 8 m. (3 pairs); one 8 m. with crease between the stamps, otherwise fine/very fine, a scarce group (Bale P.D.1-4)

Issued stamps: 1-13 m. in gutter blocks of four, 1 m. on yellowish, otherwise on white paper, all left vertical pairs split and reinforced by hinges (Bale D1-5)

1-13 m. in unused horitzontal strips of five ( 1 m. split) with all types, also additional strip of 4 m. and several single stamps, of these 4 with nail heads (Bale D1-5)

1 m. in horizontal strip of four from the lower right sheet corner; the right pair imperforated between and between the right stamp and the margin, unused, also horizontal pair imperforated between and at right, used with Jerusalem cds. and boxed "POSTAGE NOT COLLECTED ...", badly damaged at right and at bottom, but believed to be the only existing used pair of this variety (Bale D1d)

1 m. on yellow paper, vertical block of 54 with gutters at right, unused, most stamps unmounted mint (Bale D1B)

1 m. and 4 m. tied by cds. "JERUSALEM 12 AP 24" to cover originally sent from England with 1 d. and ½ d. to Cairo and redirected to Jerusalem, showing adjacent "TO PAY   MILLIEMES"; since the addressee had left the stamps additionally cancelled by boxed "CHARGE NOT COLLECTED / FRESH LABLE REQUIRED" and letter returned to England; a very scarce and fine franking of the first postage due issue (Bale D1, 3)

2 m., horizontal pair from the right sheet margin, imperforated at right, unmounted mint, fine and scarce (Bale D2c)

2 m. in marginal block of sixteen, 4 m. block of six and 13 m. in block of fifteen and 2 single stamps, all used, 2 copies 2 m. with faults, otherwise fine, scarce blocks (Bale D2, 3, 5)

13 m. in horizontal pair, imperforated between, copy from the left sheet margin, unmounted mint, hinge mark in the margin only, very fine and scarce, opinion Holcombe (Bale D5a)

Specialized lot with complete unused sets on white and yellow paper, used set on white paper, 2 entires with color frankings, 13 m. imperforated at right etc., a very interesting group

Die proof of 8 m. and value tablets of a 1, 2, 4, 10, 13, 20 and 50 m. on photographic paper; the outlines of the 7 tablets reinforced with Indian ink (different to the other 3 known items of this kind); light surface break due to a vertical central crease effecting the 1 m. slightly, otherwise very fine; a rare item, certificate Dorfman  (Bale Pr. 1)
