1912, Map Issue, the 25L in red instead of blue (two shades, light oily ink impression). Two sheet margin copies, one with Garas' backstamp, the other with Deilakis'. Unused, one with gum toning. 

1913, Castles Issue, the 5dr with Sophoulis' monogram in red on the front and his handwritten signature on the back. The stamp has a thin and hinge remnant that do not detract from this exceptionally difficult item.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION: 1914/15, Samos Hermes set with wrong overprint colors (the 1dr wrong color overprint doubled) on registered cover from Vathy to Leipzig, Germany. Very clean and unusual, backstamped Schmitt. 

1914, General Administration of Samos Overprinted Hermes, five different, each with the wrong Administration overprint color (red instead of black or vice-versa). All fresh, unused, backstamped Richter and Senf.

Samos 1921: Pair of 50L ovpt "General Administration of Samos" together with pair of 10L +25L lithographic Greek stamps, tied with "SAMOS 23.Dec.21" type V cds on parcel post form for three parcels sent to Mytilini, scarce and very fine condition

1915, General Administration of Samos on "Castles" Issue, complete set without the Sofoulis monogram, fresh, the two high values Very Fine, unused, four stamps are backstamped, the 25dr key by three, including Kohler and Schmitt. Key set of Greek philately.

1913/1914, group of 70 covers and fragments from all issues to a variety of destinations, noting among them a Map Issue cover canceled with the rare Municipality of KOKKARI seal and two covers with a 10dr and a 25dr Castles respectively. Mostly philatelic, several with the complete sets affixed, overall very clean.

1900, First Cretan State Issue, group of nine different Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. trial color proofs on regular paper, seven of which have the SPECIMEN perforation; the 50L green and the 1dr blue do not. Unusual large margins of the 1dr blue, therefore possibly a trimmed die proof.  Fresh, unused no gum, very fine

1900/13, Cretan State Issues, a treasure hunter's dream accumulation of hundreds mint and used, as well as covers. Completely unpicked, housed in glassines, better and key set values mostly separated and haphazardly placed in dealer's stock cards; noted several Provisional red and black overprinted 5drs; two complete 1905 sets and numerous mint and used top 3 values of the same set; a couple of 1908 sets complete with duplicate copies of the key 1dr, 3dr and 5drs; well over a dozen 1909, 5drs Surcharge on Rose mint and used; 1909, Gothic 3 & 5drs all over, multiple copies including 3 blocks of four of the key 1910 large Ellas 1dr and many 5dr values, too much to even know what's exactly there. Condition of stamps is mostly high quality, ideal for someone wanting to form a collection. The cover selection is primarily philatelic, some with overprint varieties, one with the 1909, 5dr on rose sticks out, again clean and overall Fine to Very Fine

1901, 1 dr. Black Provisional Overprint Re-Issue with inverted overprint. Fresh, canceled-to-order with "CHANIA" cds, Zourides backstamp. Difficult, especially canceled

1905, Second Cretan State Issue, Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. elegant presentation card bearing the engraved images and descriptions of the issued stamps in Greek and French. Few were produced and even fewer survived. This example has some of the gild worn out, some light soiling, a diagonal crack at lower left affecting one stamp, and hinge marks on the back. 

Potterware: 3 pots and one small statue, also a silver plated egg

1905, Second Cretan State Issue, complete set with diamond perforation, used as specimen examples by Bradbury, Wilkinson, & Co. Fresh, most of the values, including the top 5dr have either full or part gum, backstamped Zeis. Also, complete set overprinted ULTRAMAR in blue by the Portuguese authorities to send as reference stamps to their colonies; also included is the 1907 Third Cretan State Issue. Much better color than usual, some even toning, most have traces or part gum; quite scarce to find, especially in complete sets. 

1905, Second Cretan State Issue, group of eleven different Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. trial color plate proofs (two different of the 5L, 20L and of the 5dr) on regular paper. All with SPECIMEN perforation. Fresh, unused no gum, very fine.

1907, Third Cretan State Issue, Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co., trial color plate proofs on regular paper, two with SPECIMEN perforation, the 25L black & brown without. Fresh, unused no gum, very fine.

1908, Small ELLAS Overprint Postage Dues, two copies of the key 1dr, one unused and the other cancelled. Backstamped Schmitt. 

1900, 1908: 2 Postal cards as follows, a. 10L uprated with 20L, sent as registered fron "SPILI 21.May.1904" to Vienna, and b. 10L/10L properly used posal card with reply from "CHANIA 30.Jan.10" to Constantinople, returned with "CONSTANTINOPOLI (STAMBOUL) Poste Italiane 27.Feb.10" & "Dopo la Partenza", both scarce

1908, 10L/10L postal card stationery with reply overprinted ELLAS (10,5mm), one overprint omitted, not reported in Hellas for this overprint, very fine

1909, Regular Postal Card for International Mail: Seven unused cards with their intact postal wrapper printed in French, examples of which are considered rare to extremely rare. Very Fine. 

1900/12, Collection of over 40 pieces of postal stationery cards including such interesting usages like "NEAPOLIS" and "LIMIN SITIAS" to Paris, or Berlin, a "CHANIA" to Manchester, an "AG. NIKOLAOS" to Constantinople and numerous others. There are some soiled items, a couple heavily creased, but most are clean with some minor wear and tear. 

1900/12, Complete Postal Stationery Card Issues. Lot of 24 unused (some with duplicates), most with pencil number, includes both types of the overprint for the 1908/09 issue. A couple with toning, most are clean and very fine. 

1907/10, Group of ten registered postal stationery cards sent to various German cities and Vienna.  Interested uprated items with various stamp combinations. Very clean and useful
