Gewichtsstufe mit handschriftlichem Leitvermerk "p Steamer....Southampton" und rotem Handstempel "P.P" via London mit Rötel-Taxen "23 ½" (Groschen) für die bar bezahlte Briefgebühr und "1/10" (1 Shilling 10 Pence) für das englische Weiterfranco nach San Juan mit Tax-Stempel "20" für die Beförderungsgebühr vom Hafen bis zum Empfänger sowie waagerechtes Paar Spanisch-Westindien Ausgabe 1871 25 C. hellblau mit Sternovalstempel. Die Briefhülle ist mittig gefaltet und hat einen kleinen Einriss oben, sonst in guter Gesamterhaltung. 1843/90, extensive used collection. Beginning with "Bulls Eyes" 30, 60 (2) and 90 Reis, the latter clearly cancelled and with good to large margins on all sides, followed by "Inclinados" and "Verticais" including some of the better as well as attractive cancellations, multiples and a few forgeries while for the 1866 "Pedro II." and subsequent issues the focus lies strongly on the cancellations with in-depth documentation of the numerous types of cork- and later metal-cancellations used for each of these issues. Interesting and mostly in fine condition.

1843/2007 (ca.), massive mint never hinged/unused and used collection in 32 albums with covers, incl. officials, postage dues, ATM labels and private airmail post, postal stationeries, wrappers and aerograms, starting with a 1851 folded entire with British Post Office double arc cds. 1950/54, very interesting group of People's Republic definitive stamps, including multiples, with Soviet Union Cyrillic cancellations of "DALNY" (41), "PORT ARTHUR" (2) and "ANGTSINTSE"(2), all neatly written up on the original album pages of Michel Lipschutz. All are ex Tchinlinghirian and many formed the basis for the illustrations in parts four and six. It is unclear if these are legacy cancellations from the period of Soviet military occupation after 1945 or whether they were used in post office still under Soviet control until the final military withdrawal from the region in 1955. 1975/90, extensive and seemingly complete mint collection containing such highlights as 1980 "Year of the Ape" (Mi. 1594), a complete run of Blocks from 1978 "National scientific conference" (Mi. Block 11), including 1979 "Youth Scientific Studies" (Mi.19) and up to Mi. 29, many of the scarcer booklets such as Mi. SB2, SB3, SB8 or SB11 as well as 1983 "Poets and Philosophers of Ancient China" (Mi. 1892-95), all four values in complete sheets. In addition to this a large accumulation of 1980s official folders, a handful of year books and an album with the 1995-2000 issues, partly original envelopes. 1898/1902, Spanish-American War, specialized collection with many uncommon and significant items such as Spanish Army franchise letter endorsed "En operaciones" from Cuba to Cartagena (Spain), US Military Station letters including many rare cancels and extensive Documentation of the US Administration issues including overprinted Special Delivery stamp (Scott E2), good usages like 2c. soldiers concessionary rate, registered letters to the US and Germany, unacepted bisect on local postcard with 1c. Postage Due and uncommon Destinations like Trieste, Buenos-Aires and Bergen (Norway).  Historic interest is added by an illustrated letter with full content from "The Cuban Land Co., Washington D.C." and many US patriotic covers, some used from military stations in Cuba. A fascinating and uncommon collection in good condition, competently described on 42 exhibition pages.
