Der Paketbegleitbrief für ein Paket von 9 Pfund 440 Gramm "enthaltend 7 gebundene gedruckte Bücher" ist korrekt mit 87½ Groschen frankiert, wobei 2½ Groschen auf den deutschen Portoanteil (Grenzzone) entfallen. "DARMSTADT 1. 3 9 73" bzw.  mit  handschriftlicher Entwertung auf Paketbegleitbrief im Quartformat für ein 2 Pfund schweres Paket via Bremen nach Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Durch die 9 Kreuzer-Marke geht eine Faltung, ansonsten sind die Marken üblich gezähnt mit teils leichten Tönungen und in einwandfreier Erhaltung. Das Gesamtporto von 2 Gulden 52 Kreuzer incl. dem Weiterfranko von 2 Gulden 38 Kreuzer ist mit Rötel auf der Paketbegleitung notiert. Eine hochwertige und seltene Sechsfarben-Frankatur.
