2 Kreuzer rötlichorange, 18 Kreuzer ockerbraun und Ziffernzeichnung 30 Groschen grauultramarin (3) mit EKr. "GIESSEN 28 11 72" bzw. mit vorschriftsgemäßer handschriftlicher Entwertung auf Wert-Paketbegleitbrief im Quartformat via Bremen nach Baltimore, Maryland. Die 18 Kreuzer-Marke hat einen Eckzahnfehler, alle anderen marken sind in einwandfreier Erhaltung. Bei der Verwendung der 30 Groschen-Marke im Gebiet mit Gulden/Kreuzer-Währung wurde diese mit 105 Kreuzer angerechnet. Das Gesamtporto von 335 Kreuzer für das Paket von 2 Pfund 260 Gramm mit einer Wertangabe von 21Gulden errechnet sich aus dem deutschen Portoanteil von 14 Kreuzer mit einer Versicherungsgebühr von 6 Kreuzer und dem Porto ab Bremen mit 210 Kreuzer und einer Versicherungsgebühr von 105 Kreuzer. Sehr schöne und farbfrische Dreifarben-Frankatur.

18 Kreuzer ockerbraun , 4er-Block, 3er-Block und senkrechtes Paar sowie 7 Kreuzer grauultramarin im waagerechten Paar in Währungsmischfrankatur mit 1 Groschen karmin, rückseitig auf Paketbegleitbrief im Quartformat mit auf Brustschildmarken seltenem Baden Ra2 "FREIBURG. / 22 Mrz." für ein Paket von 1 Pfund 115 Gramm via Bremen nach Rome im Staate New York. Vier der neun 18 Kreuzer-Marken haben Einschränkungen, die übrigen im Block angeordneten Marken sind in fehlerfreier Erhaltung. Fünf der 18 Kreuzer-Marken haben die Zähnungsbesonderheit 'Ausgefallenes Zähnungsloch', FZL 6 bzw. r7. Das mit Rötel austaxierte Gesamtporto von 179 Kreuzer setzt sich aus dem deutschen Portoanteil (Zone VI) von 21 Kreuzer und dem Porto ab Bremen von 158 Kreuzer zusammen. Die 1 Groschen-Marke wurde dabei mit 3 Kreuzer angerechnet. Eine ganz außergewöhnliche Währungsmischfrankatur mit einem 4er-Block der 18 Kreuzer-Marke. In dieser Form einmalig!
