Der Paketbegleitbrief für das 1 Pfund schwere Paket ist mit 179 Kreuzer frankiert, dabei entfallen auf den deutschen Portoanteil 21 Kreuzer (Zone III)

10 Groschen gelblichgrau (3) und Großer Schild ¼ Groschen violett, 1 Groschen karmin, 2½ Groschen rötlichbrau und 5 Groschen ockerbraun in Mischfrankatur mit NDP 1869, Ziffernzeichnung 30 Groschen grauultramarin auf Wert-Paketbegleitbrief im Quartformat von "WERDAU 20 11 73" via Bremen nach South Monson, Massachusetts. Die zwei NDP Marken sind fehlerhaft, die übrigen Marken mit teils leichter Tönung aber sonst in einwandfreier Erhaltung. Das Porto für das 6 Pfund schwere Paket mit Wertangabe 13 Thaler 15 Neugroschen ist mit 98 3/4 Groschen auf dem Paketbegleitbrief taxiert und frankiert. In Bremen stellte man die fehlerhafte Portoberechnung fest, stich den blauen Weiterfrankovermerk "90" und korrigierte auf "115" (85 Groschen Beförderung + 30 Groschen Versicherung). Der deutsche Portoanteil errechnet sich auf 11 Groschen (8 Groschen Beförderung + 3 Groschen Versicherung). Interessante und selten Sechsfarben-Frankatur

The register cross is touched by the register pin of the perforating machine and is minimally punctured. During the production of the postage stamps the imperforate archival proof sheet was probably put by mistake into the perforating machine and was removed immediately before being perforated. A rare variety showing that the archival proofs were produced together with the postage stamps. A key proof in Estonian philately, mint never hinged, fine (Hurt/Ojaste G:1, F:1)
