1932, Transatlantic solo flight by Amelia Earhart, cover franked with U.S. and British adhesvies with violet diamond shaped cachet "TRANS - ATLANTIC NON-STOP SOLO-FLIGHT  FIRST AVIATRIX AMELIA EARHART FLIGHT NEWFOUNDLAND - IRELAND MAY 20 - 1932  - MAY 21" alongside, autographed by Mrs. Earhart. After taking off from Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, Mrs. Earhart landed near Culmore, close to Londonderry, Ireland on May 21, 1932, flying the distance in 14 hours and 54 minutes, very fine and rare this being cover 17 out of only 50 carried, signed with Holcombe certificate - besides one cover "Earhart arrives at New York" with her signature, newspaper articles and some modern stamps

30 Groschen grauultramarin im senkrechten Paar sowie Kleiner Schild 3 Kreuzer rötlichkarmin und 18 Kreuzer ockerbraun, alle Marken einzeln entwertet mit Badischem  DKr. "WEINGARTEN 14 MAI"  auf Paketbegleitbrief im Quartformat für ein 2 Pfund 315 Gramm schweres Paket via Bremen nach Baltimore. Die beiden Brustschildmarken haben einen Eckbug, das Paar der 30 Groschen-Marke ist sehr gut gezähnt und in einwandfreier Erhaltung. Das Weiterfranko von 2 Gulden 51 Kreuzer ist mit Rötel auf der Paketbegleitung notiert. Eine schöne und besonders rare Frankatur mit einem gestempelten Paar der 30 Groschen-Marke; es sind nur  zwei weitere Paare mit Stempelentwertung bekannt.
