10 Groschen gelblichgrau, 18er-Block und Einzelmarke mit handschriftlicher Federzugentwertung, nicht der Vorschrift entsprechend sechsmal jeweils über drei Marken gehend, zusammen mit Großer Schild 1 Groschen karmin und 5 Groschen ockerbraun mit Preußen-DKr. "KISCHKOWO 17 6 73" rückseitig auf Paketbegleitbrief im Quartformat für ein Paket von 5 Pfund 465 Gramm via Bremen nach Wesley, Texas. Alle Marken sind in einwandfreier Erhaltung. Das mit Rötel taxierte und frankierte Porto von 196 Groschen wurde in Bremen auf "9/185" Groschen korrigiert, da der deutsche Portoanteil (Zone III) fälschlich mit 11 statt mit 9 Groschen ermittelt wurde. Der 18er-Block ist die größte bekannte Einheit dieser Marke und eine bedeutende Rarität!

Amelia Earhart Nonstop flight Mexico-Newark 20 c. red with additional franking of Mexico Air official 40 c. and United States Air post 10 c. and two regular issues, all tied by Mexico City and Newark cds. to flown registered cover, originating in California on April 19th where it was registered with the 10 c. Air post and addressed to George Putnam (Earhart's husband!) in Mexico City, it was then re-addressed to New York City, re-registered and franked with with the Mexican adhesives for the flight of New Jersey, finally it was franked with US adhesives for its last leg to New York City! United States registration handstamp, Mexican registration label and in neat manuscript "Carried by Air" cleary signed Amelia Earhart, with all transit marks on reverse. Very fine condition and with this combination of flight, stamp and signature for sure one of the most desirable airpost and Mexico rarities!

Das Porto für die Beförderung des 1 Pfund 120 Gramm schweren Paketes mit Wertangabe 5 Gulden setzt sich aus dem deutschen Portoanteil von 21 Kreuzer + 11 Kreuzer Versicherungsgebühr (Zone III) und dem Weiterfranko von 2 Gulden 38 Kreuzer (ohne Versichgerungsgebühr) zusammen und ist entsprechend auf dem Paketbegleitbrief mit Rötel taxiert und frankiert. Da die Versicherungsgebühr ab Bremen nicht bezahlt war, wurde das Paket wohl unversichert befördert. Interessante Dreifarben-Frankatur
