BAYERN: 1875, Wappen mit Wasserzeichen 'Wellenlinien', 18 Kreuzer zinnoberrot, zwei Exemplare mit EKr. "LUDWIGSHAFEN 18/8" rückseitig auf grüner Post-Packetadresse für ein Paket von ½ Kilogramm via Bremen nach Brooklyn. Es sind sieben Marken abgefallen, deren ursprüngliche Positionen an Hand von Gummiresten und Stempelübergängen eindeutig rekonstruierbar sind. Der vorhandene, dem notwendigen Porto entsprechende Taxierungsbetrag über 123 Kreuzer "1f45/18", von dem 36 Kreuzer noch auf der Paketkarte haften, lässt den Schluss zu, dass vier der sieben abgefallenen Marken 18 Kreuzer-Werte waren. Bezüglich der restlichen drei Marken bliebe die Alternative zwischen einmal 9 und zweimal 3 Kreuzer oder zweimal 7 und einmal 1 Kreuzer. Die 18 Kreuzer-Marke mit dem Wasserzeichen ' Wellenlinien' ist auf Ganzstücken bisher nur auf einem Brief nach China und auf einer weiteren Paketkarte mit kompletter Frankatur aus dem "Constantin-Württenberger-Fund" (siehe Boker Katalog S. 195) bekannt. Trotz der unvollständigen Frankatur eine große Bayern-Seltenheit

DÄNEMARK: 1870/71, 16 Skilling grau/grün und 48 Skilling braun/lila (8, dabei zwei Paare) mit  Nr. "1" von Kopenhagen, vorder- und rückseitig auf Paketbegleitbrief für ein 1 Pfund 31 Gramm schweres Paket mit Ra2 "über Dänemark / Porto von Woyens" über Hamburg mit DKr. "HAMBURG 2 9 73", Bremen und St. Thomas nach Christiansted auf St. Croix (Dänisch Westindien). Bis auf eine 48 Skillling-Marke sind die Marken üblich gezähnt, der Brief etwas unfrisch. Das Porto ab Woyens betrug für den deutschen Teil bis Bremen 4 Groschen (16 Skilling) und das Weiterfranko 90 Groschen (384 Skilling) und ist mit Blaustift  notiert. Einzig bekannter Paketbegleitbrief von Dänemark nach Übersee.

1864, folded letter from Callao addressed to Genoa and first transported by ship "Bogota" to Colon and then transshipped onto the "Tamar" to St. Thomas, from there send with the "Atrato" to Southampton, with accountancy mark "GB 2F 87 50/10" alongside, charged upon arrival "14" decimes, a attractive and scarce entire From the letter:" I trust this letter to a sailing boat leaving to Callao, these isles lacking mail connection with the dry land...". The letter was written by an Italian captain who was making costal trading along the West coast of South America. The oval handstamp "PEDRO SOLOGINAC CALLAO" was probably the forwarder in Callao. The isles Chincas, not far from Callao, where the isles of the "Guano". A year later from the date of the letter, the isles becaome the theatre of the Spanish-Peruvian war 1865-1866.
