5 Groschen ockerbraun, 24er-Block und 6er-Block in farb- und währungsgleicher Mischfrankatur mit Kleiner Schild 5 Groschen ockerbraun (6, dabei waagerechter 4er-Streifen) sowie ½ Groschen orange, mit klarem, auf jeder Marke einzeln aufgesetztem EKr. "TETTENS 6 3 73" rückseitig auf Wert-Paketbegleitbrief via Bremen nach Houston, Texas. Alle Marken sind gut geprägt und bis auf teils flache Zähne durch Randklebung gut gezähnt. Der 24er-Block enthält den Plattenfehler I (Feld 17) und VIII (Feld 22), der 4er-Streifen der 5 Groschen-Marke mit Kleinem Schild hat die Plattenfehler V im Paar (Feld 73+74). Das Porto für das 245 Gramm schwere Paket mit Wertangabe 70 Thaler errechnet sich aus dem deutschen Portoanteil von 4 Groschen (Zone I) + Versicherungsgebühr von 1½ Groschen und dem Weiterfranko von 115 Groschen + Versicherungsgebühr 60 Groschen. Entsprechend wurde taxiert und frankiert. Der 24er-Block ist die größte bekannte gebrauchte Einheit dieser Marke und die zweitgrößte gebrauchte Einheit aller Brustschildmarken. Eine bedeutende Rarität der Deutschen Philatelie !

Der ab 1.1.1874 geltende deutsche Portoanteil von 18 Kreuzer ist mit dem Spitzenwert der Brustschildausgaben, der 18 Kreuzer-Marke mit Großem Schild frankiert.
