The letter was transportet by "Estafeta" from Gibraltar to S.Roque and here delivered to the spanish PO. The stamp little touched at upper left, otherwise very fine and fresh. A rare entire, the only recorded with a stamp of the first issue from Gibraltar and the sole usage of a number 1 of Spain on a letter from a foreign country. Certificate Grauss AIEP (2012)

1850, 6 cs. black, good to large margins, tied by 'spider' to entire letter with adjacent "TOLOSA 1 ENER 1851" to a member of Parliament at Madrid.
