 1849, entire letter from a military, dated "Camp Aden 18th August 1849" and sent to England, countersigned on front and charged with "2" d. as double rate letter.

1849, small envelope with original contents, dated "Aden 29th May 1849", endorsed "Per steamer Oriental via Marseille" (last trip), on reverse transit mark of Alexandria and on front Malta disinfection mark, charged "1/8".

"124" on India DLR, 2 copies 2 a. yellow (some marginal faults) on cover with adjacent red "BOMBAY BPP" to Bombay, on reverse cds. "ADEN JU 8 64", still fine
